Spruce Nail Shop is your friendly neighborhood nail and skincare salon. We carefully choose products that are free of harsh and toxic materials, and we select our services based on research for what is best for nail and skin health. Founded by Molly Reckman Nagle in 2015, the foundation of our business is based on having GOOD. CLEAN. FUN. - both for our clients and employees! It is our mission to use the safest alternatives for polishes, products, and practices while creating one-of-a-kind manicures and nail art designs for our clients. We introduced our skincare department in 2019 and are so excited about our new offerings with facials, tinting, and waxing. We are proudly women-owned AND operated; in fact, all of our product vendors are women-owned as well!

Nail Polish -

We don’t use words like all-natural and organic when it comes to nail polish, it is nail polish after all, and it does contain chemicals. However, what makes Spruce different is that we have done the research in order to provide you with the safest polishes available. That is why we only use polishes that are 5 Free or more [free of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, camphor, and toluene], and do not contain other harsh ingredients such as TPHP.  Our polishes are also vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free. The same requirements go for our gel polish, and we only use LED gel lamps, no UV lights here!

Products -

We have carefully curated our own line of products that we use in all of our nail services, including several lotions, sugar scrub, and our famous jojoba-based cuticle serum!
Our estheticians use the Botnia and Naturopathica lines of skincare products for services. These products are farm-to-face, handmade to be both effective and gentle.

Practices -

We don’t mess around when it comes to your health, and ours! In fact, we use hospital-grade standards for sanitation. We go above and beyond the salon standards when it comes to cleanliness. That means we not only disinfect, but sterilize all of our implements. Anything that can’t be sterilized we use one time only.

We are also committed to minimizing our carbon footprint. We've partnered with Green Circle Salons to recycle most of the materials we use in a service, and we were certified carbon neutral in spring 2023.
